MiZa Library Presents: Candle Making with Project Nakhla x From the Arabs

About the Workshop:

Project Nakhla and From the Arabs invite us to step into both their worlds; each with a unique outlook on preserving natural material and senses. This event will begin with a talk delving into both projects and learning a bit about what inspires them, their motivations, and their aspirations. Afterwards, participants will get to experience an extraordinary candle-making workshop where each will learn the craft from start to finish, from selecting the finest waxes and fragrances inspiured by traditional Arabic scenets, to hand-pouring their very own candle.

About the Hosts:

Project Nakhla is a lifestyle community, showcasing the beauty and diversity of palm trees, with a focus on the palm trees found in Abu Dhabi. Their aim is to reinforce the love and appreciation for palm trees in people's hearts. By sharing photographs, facts, and collaborations, Project Nakhla hope to create a community who share their love for palm trees and for followers to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of palm trees in our ecosystem and the role they play in sustaining life. 

From The Arabs is an Emirati brand born to preserve and modernize its culture for what it is famously known for its fragrance. Their products are completely made by hand and are 100% locally sourced in the UAE. Their inspiration for our brand came from preserving the Emirati grandmothers famous bakhor recipes and in an attempt to modernize it.
