About the Workshop:

In a Relaxation Gong and Sound Immersion, you sit or lie down comfortably, gently shut your eyes, and are taken through a guided visualization journey of breathing and deep relaxation, as you de-stress and release your tensions, pains and fears. Your breath is your first healer. Along with sound, it assists in releasing pain and negative emotions. During this time, as the sounds of creation wash over you, your body relaxes and your mind is soothed. You can move beyond your thoughts, and simply, be present, in the "now of the sound. It is in this beautiful space that you can transform and heal.

About the Host:

Zarine Dadachani has been a primary school teacher for 35 years, fourteen of those in Dubai, at an International School. She is now a facilitator for Gong and Sound Immersion sessions. She guides people through visualizations that facilitate rest and relaxation and de-stressing at a deep cellular level. She then plays the gongs, singing bowls and other sound instruments that further enhance this relaxation. Attendees leave smiling, happy and totally relaxed, wanting to return or just not leave!! She continues to study the Way of the Gong with the Grand Gong Master, Don Conreaux, and other Gong Teachers. After a Sound Immersion session those attending have reported that they are better able to manage stress and anxiety, get better sleep, are better able to focus and pay attention to their tasks and have improved feelings of happiness, awareness and general wellbeing.

Schedule:

6:00 - 6:30: Socialization

6:30 - 8:15: Meditation Session

8:15 - 9:00: Wrap-up and Socialize
